No Busking during School Hours

7 July, 2010

No busking during school hoursThis week: No Busking during School Hours.

York, England. I’m sure it has some very important point, but I don’t know what that point is. I am happy to see decent school hours. We had several theories in our group.

1) To prevent schoolchildren from ditching school to busk for money to tourists.

2) To prevent schoolchildren from giving their lunch money to the buskers.

Anyone know the real reason??

Maybe there’s a school nearby and as I just learned, busking is musical or dance performance for tips. That’s my best guess, that the teachers don’t want to have to compete with some busker busking things.
