This Week: Fun in the Snow
This whimsical sculpture is in Freiburg, Germany. It is in a park not far from the main station, but the other direction from the center of town, so I doubt many tourists see it. The field is where they do public viewings for the World Cup game. Imagine less snow (usually more mud) and thousands of screaming fans and enormous screens.
I took this picture a number of years ago, but pulled it out in honor of it being quite cold here this week.
Request for Guest Posts:
I am interested in hosting guest posters in addition to my own posting schedule. Topics around being an expat or overcoming fear/mental blocks are most likely to be accepted. I am best found by Twitter, but you can send me a message on the Contact form too. I earn no money on this so this is simply an offer to tell your story if you’d like.
Request for Links:
I really try to keep up on my reading, but I miss stuff. I try every week to add a few links to the photography post. You can help by adding links in comments of great posts you know.
