Peeing pair in Prague
This week: A peeing statue, Prague
Ali and I went to Prague at Thanksgiving last year. Despite the bitter cold we went wandering a bit to find this statue that she had read about. It is in the courtyard in front of the Kafka Museum, see the K’s, on the Castle Hill side of the river not too far from the Charles Bridge.
So yeah, two statues pissing into a basin shaped like the Czech Republic. It seems almost disrespectful, but heck it is in the middle of the capital city. If they don’t care, why should I worry? I wonder how many drunk tourists get the idea to pose as the “third pee’er”?

This must be the weirdest statue I have ever seen
It does seem disrespectful

Yeah, it is really is freaky, but somehow makes sense in the courtyard of the Kafka Museum.
That’s so bizarre. I wonder what the story behind it is.

I dunno the full story, but even a very quick google of “peeing statue Prague” says that they are animatronic and write with their pee famous quotes. It was so cold we must not have noticed, or they shut that down in the winter.
I’ve got pictures of these two statues as well but at night!
